2013: I received the Allied Health Research Award from the American Society of Transplantation.
1997: Six months before my first transplant I used challenge activities to keep my head straight while I completed my dissertation for my PhD
1997: Karl and I were married in small ceremony in Islamorada in the Florida Keys
